Gangadharrao Soundalyarao "G. S." Maddala (May 21, 1933 – June 4, 1999) was an Indian American economist, mathematician, and teacher, known for his contributions in the field of econometrics and for the textbooks he authored in this field. ==Biography and education== He was "born in India to a family of very modest means."〔 (obituary dated June 14, 1999; copy (available here ))〕 He obtained a B.A. in Mathematics from Andhra University and, in 1957, an M.A. in Statistics from Bombay University.〔〔 He came to the United States as a Fulbright Scholar to the Economics department of the University of Chicago.〔 In 1963 he completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago with a dissertation written under the supervision of Zvi Griliches. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「G.
